SKYPE 5.0
From what I read here, in Spanish, S 5 is not worth the trouble unless you need conference calls, with video, of more that 3 persons. And if you want to be linked inextricably to facebook. There seem to be issues with the simpler functions, like plain old calls. Frequent drops, for example. I'm going to wait. Any other opinions? You guys using it?
Well, that is not entirely true. Some people love it, but there are enough caveats to give me pause, living over here so far away from my loyal tech support people.
PS: Cost of netbook on/off switch $70.00. He used a bolt and a nut because it would have taken forever to get the standard issue part. I liked his thinking.
I am doing this instead of finishing packing for the move at 8am tomorrow.

In the interests of not boring the world I am moving my comments atc. to my blog rather than facebook, or even non seq, if it is personal or meant for the family.
I dunno. I still have Skype 2 point something or another. Seems fine.
I do know that at some point, one's operating system can eventually lack the requirements for updates.
I know what $70 is; but 2hat's a netbook on/off switch?
