Two men sit together in first class while their plane taxis from the tarmac to the runway. BILL is calculating something in his notebook; JACK looks over curiously and squints, trying to make out the formula on the page.
Jack: Biology?
Bill: Genetics.
Jack: Wow. Just research, or..?
Bill (pausing, looks up): You know those construction tarps made to look like the finished facade behind them?
Jack: You kidding me? I thought those were thermoplastic.
Bill (returns to page): I wouldn't know. I design the people who come up with those kinds of ideas.
