Back Home Again at Anita's (CoCoBeach)

I just got settled into my bed here and it feels like heaven. I moved abruptly from the place I was staying due to an infestation of moths that caused an allergy for which I saw a doctor and was   given 2 shots of cortisone. I am taking cortisone tablets and another allergy medicine and some stuff to apply to my pathetically sore ridden skin--and itchy. I am directed to shower at least 3 times per day to wash off the dust or whatever from the moths. Last night I found 2 caterpillars in my bed--they are more potent than the moths.. That was the final blow. I called Anita, packed my bags, called a friend in the program, who is also a taxi driver, and ran. We will go back in the AM to get the rest of my stuff.
It was so good to arrive at Anita's and be welcomed like a long lost child.
My permanent apartment  will be ready about Nov 3 and I will get the same guy to move me.
It has been eventful and interesting, but the drugs make me too tired to write.
BTW I arranged all the urine culture and sensitivity stuff, so I don't have to worry about that. I left a specimen last Thursday and will get the results next Tuesday when I see the doc again.
Those sleeping pills were by prescription now, but I got a script and filled it so sleep is not a problem.
It always amazes me how things work out after I get up the gumption to take the first step.
My friends  have helped me immensely and I am learning more and more each day that I have to rely on other people and to ask for and accept help when I need it. It is a good lesson and a great relief.
I love you all. mama
PS: Walking up and down a steep road/driveway and then 3 flights of spiral stairs is not the best way to begin recovering strength after a long period of inactivity.
