Waiting for the PO, etc. Short version, abridged and seriously redacted. Call for long version. ;-)

The long version is 5000 words and too boring even for me.
Between 8 AM and 4 PM today, I:
1. Waited a lot. Listened to annoying  hold music and ads for medical aids for seniors for a long time. We're talking like a hour here.
2. Fired my medical supply company for incompetence, but was relatively charming about it.**
3. Called my Urologist and explained that I'd need to get my catheters locally now. Perhaps make my own with long Home Depot tubing.
4. Received a computer monitor via Fed Ex from Amazon.
5. Received a docking station via UPS from Amazon.
Why 2 shippers? No  idea. But it was free, so who cares?
6. Did not receive a 9 x 12 manila from CA. PO tried to palm off a registered, certified letter that was addressed to Heather Smith. Did not take this letter.
7. Was disappointed because the handy-man postponed installation of my 3 prong outlet boxes until next week.
8. Walked to 16th & Meridian Walgreen to pick up Keflex for the latest UTI.
9. Took a Keflex, got undressed, ate a candy bar.

**I have been happy and in a wonderful mood since Wednesday when I had my last Balance and Mobility Physical Therapy session.  Alarming feelings of well being and hope, bordering on euphoria. I had no idea what was going on subconsciously around the PT , but obviously, to me, in retrospect, one hell of a lot of fear, depression, hopelessness and, as Wen would say, "Pain, despair and misery...". At least I  think that's what he said. (More on this psychological effect later, maybe.)

I start strength rehab at the Y next Tuesday.
Now, that's something forward which to look. ;-)
Pump that iron.

Shades of Clockwork Orange for the new century?
