UPDATE January 12, 2015, Monday 1 PM 34 F Prius healed.

  I am so relieved. I wasted all that time fretting and fearing and dreading. I wish I could not do that. Wendall always countered my foolish, unwarranted fears and reassured me.  

 Must have been the freezing temperatures.  Or the car wash a couple weeks ago. I drove a while today to make sure battery is charged, picked up a couple prescriptions and am now prepared to stay in until next Friday. 

More freezing predicted tonight, lasting until Friday. Then a high of 38 and a warm weekend to follow. 

I'm going to make some HOT chili this afternoon.
