Trump wins it all---the up side.

If he overcomes the Republican establishment and the favored candidate of the Democratic establishment Trump will have, I hope,   proven that is is possible to take back real control of the elections from the   powers that have run them for decades.  
Sort of a Larry Flint for political freedom. (They say even Mussolini made the trains run on time.)
Are revolutions (the French one, e.g.)  started by the intelligentsia or the, um rabble? 
Could the laws of unintended consequences help us here in the long run?
This is a topic for more intelligent  thought  than I am able to summon.  I would like to read consideration from people I respect whose minds still work well.
Bernie, on the other hand... But my brain is tired and won't compute the factors. Dammit, it's foggy in there. I question my judgement now more than I ever did when I was young and dumb...er.
If only everyone did.
