Walked around the complex, outdoors. went to the cafe for chit chat. One lady. Pam, kinda flaky, but nice. Two more arrived. Wheel chairs. There were rolls in the cafe. Just what I need Two ladies in the hall. Chat a while. Plan to go on bus to Kroger etc. tomorrow, to see what it is like.
So, that'll be me now, getting off the old people's bus in front of the stores.
Euchre tomorrow at 6 PM.
Cook out at Eagle Creek Tuesday, 10 AM.
I am foggy, unbalanced--physically--tentative, but I've been called a 'character' by several people. I choose to think they meant charming or fascinating. The Home lent me a living room chair to sit in until my couch comes on Wed.
Met a lady from Estonia. she taught Ebonics? maybe it was entomology, at North Central. English is her third language, Second is German. Also knows Latin.
Last Friday I had 3 classes. Fit and Fabulous. Tai Chi. Care, Commitment and Balance. Gotta get my stuff together.
Off to Dip on Skype for a while.
3 PM Skyped a while, rather frustratingly due to bad connection, with Dip.
Am now at table overlooking lobby where connection is 5 bars. I can deal with coming out here to use net. Across the hall, in the Chapel, Vespers is in progress. I can hear the piano playing holy songs. Very nice, in a tinkling prayerish sort of way. Bob just came to invite me to join them. I met him last night out in front where he explained to me what Catholics believed. And Nazarenes. And he related, in all seriousness, how once he pointed out to a Church of Christer--they don't use instruments in their music--that the tuning fork he (the C of C-er) was using was against his own religion and he was sinning by using a tuning fork because it was an instrument. Sigh.
This one (vespers) is nondenominational, he says, but I hear a lot of Jesus and Christian talk coming from the preacher. I can adapt a lot, but not that far. Not today. Maybe later, who knows.
Brisket for lunch.
I could watch Netflix out here and use speakers. We shall see.
This is really a good place filled with kind people and I am grateful to be here, since I need the available assistance.
Song--There's room at the cross for you.
Makes me think of Bountiful. Moving on. Going to walk around a little before the next meal.

Vespers is letting out. Pastor is saying goodbye and Praise the Lord. Just a closer Walk With Thee on the piano. Some lady asks another, referring to me, "What's SHe doing?
Well, we Yiped for about an hour with the benefit of perfect Estonian engineering before the connection got wambly. I'd say the thing in your place will be fine ultimately. We'll see. I'm surprised you didn't know about instruments being a sin. I thought everybody knew the devil's tools.
