Luck of the Draw--sort of

Who'd ever have thought that a strange guy you picked up at midnight in a drive in restaurant would have turned out so great. Even now, long after he is no longer here, I reap the benefits of his life. His steady work, at times 3 jobs at a time, that has provided me with insurance, more $ in Social Security, and an incomparable prescription benefit program. During all those years of fun and games and kids and travel and moving around, he was my security, my support and my love. I don't know where I'd be at this point without him.
And, I must tell you, I am living in the lap of luxury today. This is the happiest I have been in several years. Safe, fed, socialized, privacy, transportation, sisters nearby, and the drugstore even delivers most of my drugs. Especially the various exercise programs available daily, reading club, cards, and the sheer niceness of the staff and most of the residents. I got it made. I've had it made from the time we met.
Of course it was the physical attraction that started it all, but there was more to come. We, me'n Wen, lucked out. I wish such luck on all of you.
