After a windows10 update, I followed instructions and lost the ability to open my programs. Tried many things from Microsoft. Tried other things from just plain people complaining of the same problem. None worked. When I was trying to keep track of someone's suggestion to press 8 keys at once while plugging and unplugging the laptop 7 times in succession I realized it was over. So, screwdriver, needle nose pliers, table knife, steak knife scissors, hammer, and elbow grease finally solved my problem Nothing to obsess about anymore. Heading to the dumpster with parts of the laptop in double plastic bags to hide it from evil vampires. I don't even recall contents now. Tiny cuts from glass slivers

notwithstanding, I'm A-okay now. May or may not restart NANO. Most likely not.
