First wrote something like this  at 3 pm today. Accidentally wiped it. Multi tasking is not my forte any more.

Watched KY Derby. 

Wow. Feel sorry for the Panamanian jockey. Happy for the other jockey. Wish I had money on Country House. 

Second attempt.

In keeping with my new plan to get out and live, a friend and  I will be spending the holidays of May--except for Cinco de Mayo--in a cabin at a place in Southern Indiana called Lake Patoka. 

Never heard of it before, but it sounds to me like the kinds of places Margie and Press took their kids when I was a kid.  I always envied those kids. They took me with them as a sitter to Indiana Beach and I loved it. Won a gold ring on a merry-go-round and smoked Margie's cigs while she and Press were out dancing or whatever. She knew, but didn't tell.

Grandma Boot bought me a 4 piece outfit to take on my trip. Denim colored skirt, vest, shorts and shirt. It was a big deal.

They have floating cabins, as opposed to houseboats or land based cabins. Floating cabins look cool but a bit pricey. There is also a moonlight cruise (wine tasting), but it costs extra and will have other people so we will skip that.

Another time it is worth the price to have AAA so I can drive my 14 year old car with an unworried mind. Prius is the best buy I ever made.  Thanks D.

I'm sure the earlier attempt was witty and clever and etc., but I can't remember it.
