IN the process of moving and converting all my files from my Windows 7 laptop to my new Chromebook I came across this poem. I have looked for each individual line on google to see if it is something I copied from somewhere, but find no evidence of that.
The title indicating it was written in the wee hours of the morning lead me to believe I either woke with it in my head or couldn't sleep and wrote it. I like it. If anyone finds evidence or recognizes lines from somewhere else, let me know. Plagiarism is the lowest form of something or other. I know line one comes from the bible, quoted loosely, but the rest? I have a vague vision of seeing an article about Beethoven and lines about him running around in my mind. I lived at Anita's, I think.

The
beginning of wisdom is wonder/
His
mind is fragmented today/
He put
his pajamas on backwards.
Do
fairies and angels ride unicorns,
Sailing
from Pluto to Mars.
Is it
wise to follow a star? (safe?)
He
refused his postprandial medication.
He
thinks he can play the piano.
The
music is inside his head.
Is
infinity endless?
The
music is inside his head.?
Can you
circumnavigate eternity?
All his
children are gathered today.
Why is
thunder after lightning?
He's
been here forever.
Why is
stardust?
Do the
clouds know?
Does
the moon last forever?
Herr
Beethoven died today.
The sun
comes out today.

Ha ha. I also found that Grammarly will do a plagiarism check for free, so I did it. They found no plagiarism, but evidence of Mixed Dialects of English and Passive Voice Misuse and Improper Formatting amidst spelling errors. Why does this make me feel good?!
I like it, and I typically hate poetry. It can be interpreted in so many different ways. I think so, anyway.
