Thank goodness I didn't pitch my brushes and glues

Got rid of all my canvases. Was done with all that. Planned to live in a house decorated like a normal person. You know, couch with coffee table and flanking lamp tables & lamps, two sort of matching easy chairs, reading lamp on table between angled easy chairs,  maybe doilies,  maybe coffee table books, maybe whadayacallem things to put under your drinks, coasters. Hooked rug in center to bring it all together. You get the idea. Comfy. Welcoming. A room that says:
uglier
ugly
Come in. Have a cup of
coffee. Just put your walker over here in the corner. Oh, a dog! Well! How lovely. Just put it on the balcony and shut the door.
Alas, the plan fell through.  This morning I came across some click bait that sucked me right in again. Collage on the walls! Hand painted stripes on the ceiling!

A new reason to get up in the morning. Gotta go buy paint.
Also today finally got Comcast to sell me internet only for forty three bucks a month and change. Also a free Arby's sandwich coupon. And found crushed ice at the Speedway station at the corner. Can it get any better?

Oh, dear Lord. So glad the click-bait reminded you who you are. Understand the desire to become "normal." Recognize the concept is bullshit. You are awesome. That photo could have been of you. Please don't fall down.

Ditto what KiKiDo said. And do be careful not to hot-glue yourself to the easel.

Once upon a time...
