makes me miss a piano and playing scales
I imagine buying one. A keyboard wouldn't do. Must go elsewhere so I won't talk myself into this. Think of movers trying to bring an upright up two flights of stairs.

I have toyed with the idea of getting an electric, which, with it's stand is a teeny fraction of the weight, with nearly all the action of its keys. Key to these continued considerations is a recent conversation with someone who can play one and on hearing deliberate advised for it. The idea of the electric piano I have toyed with.
I want the feel of wood and weight and vibrations in the lampshades. I can't play, just liked the memory of playing scales.
