Walking and thinking

I think I saw a scarlet tanager this morning. I was just turning the corner behind building 3 onto the back stretch and I saw the brilliant orange flash of wings on the electric wire ahead. It was exhilarating, and I thought of Wendall. He'd have known for sure.
All the flowers are in bloom. Bushes, trees, the public places. We have impressive landscaping here. I pass a big black Ford 250 pickup with a silver Harley-Davidson emblem on its hood.
Speaking of which, A guy across my street has a Harley. He's a little bitty skinny bald guy and when he rides off, after having rumbled and roared his pipes for a good long while--look at me, I'm a cool guy-- his tiny head barely shows above the seat back of his ride.
The hot dog truck is here today. It comes more and more often now. Apparently, a lot more people happily eat hot dogs now that the weather is warmer. Probably a Speedway thing, what with the race and all.
When I got back from walking and went out onto the patio to sit in the sun, three different women called hello from their perches along my row. Nice feeling.
Mine is the only patio along here upon which the sun shines from ten A to Noon, and I love it. Feels like a pep pill, sorta. Twenty-three minutes, one full loop.
I am trying an albuterol inhaler for a little boost. It works for some.
I'm clearing my tables to be ready when my new supply of art stuff arrives. This involves hot gluing all my cardboard together to make a big cube. :joy: Moving this to my blog.
