Piss etc.

Friday morning I'm going to have a PT scan of the abdominal area to see if lodged kidney stones could be causing these recurrent UTIs. The causative bacteria is not the one that usually causes women's UTIs. That would be e coli because it is present in the bowel and easily gets into the urethra. I'm told that kidney stones that stay in the kidney can cause pockets which harbor bacteria and allow them to grow and reinfect. I must admit, this is a possibility of which I was totally unaware.

The really horrible thing about this is that I must get up and be at the hospital by 9:30 AM. They won't let me sleep in the lobby and come get me when they're ready.
I have not explored what happens next if..I was at the drugstore  when they called and I can barely function on a cellular phone as it is, much less in a noisy store.
