I concede. I give up. I surrender. Say it however you want.
And while we're at it. let's eliminate the editorial "'We."?!
Last night I read, in a book, that I had paid money for, "Her eyes seethed." I accepted that the writer, Dan Brown, meant the subject was angry, but the the image I got gave me a new respect for Dan Brown's accomplishments. I give you full disclosure: I got it free in the middle of the night from the library on kindle. God forbid anyone I care about would think I paid good money for a Dan Brown book, Thus illustrating once again that snobbery and pride are incurable and can only be suppressed or hidden.
