fn + f9

My biggest accomplishment today so  far is finding a way to disable the touch pad on my ASUS with windows 10. I searched and I searched and finally found a comment saying the person had lost his ability to disable touch pad by using fn + f9. It worked for me and, I hope will stop my screen from rolling, shutting down, lurching in another direction or changing fonts or sizes while I'm trying to write.This makes me very happy although my eyes are dry and twitchy from searching fine print so long. No doubt any one of my offspring could have answered my question lickitty split. I am once more convinced that the best way to solve computer problems is to ask a knowledgeable  person, ie. one of my kids.

One of your critters, for sure. By contrast, my major accomplishment last night was reordering the bookshelves, during which there was a moment of standing still & staring in catatonia for what must have been a while, wondering what it was I was doing. Good times.

Once upon a time...
