Foggy Day (heavily edited and corrected)

Can't think of the names of Bonnie and Charlie's kids, except for Freddie, which I got from saying Misako &  'ah yes Fred.' Can one go demented overnight or is it last night's sleeping pill? Foggy vision feeling.
I was trying to write about a dream I had last night and I may not be fully out of that brain mode yet.  Kelly and I were riding a bicycle from a big city (Atlanta?) to the compound.  Here's what I see in the dream. Kel & I sitting beside each other moving fast along a road filled with many lanes of heavy traffic.  No handlebars or signs of bike but in my head we were  on a person powered vehicle and pedaling hard. Freddie's brother who has a wife in running alongside us. Later in the dream I realize he is staying with us  to make sure we are okay on a bike on the hwy. We three have linked arms. I feel the speed on the highway. Hwy covered with snow but has ruts from traffic. It is night, dark, headlights glare. I am trying to pedal hard to keep up with traffic and do okay except on uphill parts. Big truck behind us. We pull off to side of road. Buy donuts from like a roadside fruit stand, eat them, I put some in my pockets. Big deal with lady and making change. Back on road in traffic. The recurs a couple of times. I awoke after we got into the mountains and I couldn't keep up with traffic going up a mountain. Heck, maybe we were coming from the North and the mountain was Jellico. Thinking now, we weren't cold although there was heavy snow.
I have had many spectacularly weird dreams in the last year or so.
could weird dreams be a precursor to dementia?

Sounds like my standard kind of dream. Is Freddie's bro's name Richard?

Weird dreams are unlikely to be signs of dementia. Or, if so, we're all demented. That dream seems like a metaphorical depiction of real life.

Once upon a time...
